A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a tax-exempt account established exclusively for the purpose of paying or reimbursing qualified medical expenses.

It allows individuals with a qualified "high-deductible health plan" (HDHP) to put money into an account for future medical expenses. This account can provide tax savings, along with peace of mind.
