Northwestern Bank, a proud member of the Chippewa Valley community since 1904, is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Main Bank, located in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Job duties include: 

  • Account opening and/or closing for personal, business checking and savings. Collecting CIP information, do Chex system, OFAC, and keeping business information on file and up to date.
  • Working with CD's, IRA's and HSA's, including being responsible for or acting as a backup for end of year reporting. 
  • Setting up fiduciary accounts (ie. Funeral Trausts, Estate account, Guardianship, WUTMA etc.) as requested, collecting legal documents and titling accounts appropriately. 
  • Cross selling of products.
  • Processing, filing and maintaining account records, documents and signature cards. 
  • Assisting customers with the setup of online banking products, including but not limited to Mobile app, bill pay, mobile deposit, Zelle, Card Valet and electronic statements.
  • Processing and/or verifying incoming and outgoing wires, domestic and international.
  • Processing, printing, completing and filing AVS and SSI requests in a timely manner, as needed. 
  • Ordering checks for Customers and providing back-ups with weekly and monthly maintenance of Deluxe products and reporting.
  • Redeeming Saving Bonds.
  • Notarizing documents as needed.
  • Preparing reports and correspondence as needed. 
  • Completing forms to open and maintain misc. accounts such as IOLTA and IBRETA Trust accounts and verifying customer legal information for Housing Authorities. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

After the intial training period of approximately 4-6 months, this position may be assigned teller responsibilities as well. 

Full time position. Hours will average around 36-38 hours per week with 1-2 Saturdays per month.
