Boyd Community Events

Northwestern Bank prioritizes building stronger communities where people matter. This is why we support causes within each of our branch’s local communities. For many years the Bank has supported the Boyd Area Chamber of Commerce in each of their large events and community activities.

Ringelspiel Days, held in Boyd, WI is a fun weekend showcasing the community. The celebration usually consists of a parade, petting zoo, Miss Boyd queen contest, Wiffle Ball tournament, BINGO, the Western Wisconsin Pedal Pull, face painting, live music, food, beverages, and more. This three-day event is the perfect chance for the community to come together and enjoy the warming weather at the beginning of summer.

The Corn Feed and Street Dance is an annual event in Boyd that provides free entertainment and sweet corn for families. Last year, this event was a huge success with lots of free sweet corn, a bike giveaway, facepainting, live music, entertainment, and inflatables for kids. This free family - friendly event requires funding from local organizations to continue each year, which is why it fits with Northwestern Bank's core values.

The Boyd Area Chamber of Commerce also puts on an annual event around the holidays where Santa, Mrs. Clause, an elf, and Olaf visit the Village Haus in Boyd. Last year, this event entertained close to 100 children and their families. The community also came together to provide hot chocolate, free horse drawn wagon rides, a decorated town hall, and holiday cookies for local families.

“Each year, I look forward to our local events like Ringelspeil Days and The Corn Feed and Street Dance. I think it is great that Northwestern Bank chooses to sponsor events in each of our communities” – Kristine Bremness, Boyd branch Teller.

Northwestern Bank has a mission to build stronger communities where people matter. By supporting local events within each of our branches’ communities, we are able to make a large overall impact throughout Northwestern Wisconsin.
