Northwestern Bank, a proud member of several west-central and central Wisconsin communities since 1904, is currently seeking a full-time Commercial/Ag Loan Officer for our Thorp, Cornell and Boyd communities.

Job duties include: 

• Assists customers through the loan process, answering questions they may have, explaining loan options available to them and associated costs, assisting in the completion of loan applications, gathering all pertinent information necessary, preparing cash flows, calculating key financial ratios, communicating with appraisers, verifying customer information, following bank policy when approving or rejecting loans, representing loan applications to the Loan Committee when they are above loan limit, presents completed loan documents to customers and discusses approval/disapproval of loan and loan terms and conditions with customers. 
• Works closely with senior lending management members and Credit Analysts to gain an understanding in order to make sound financial decisions. 
• Develops relationships with prospective customers, representing Northwestern Bank at business, trade, charity, civic and social events. 
• Informs customers of other bank products and services available to them. 
• Maintains current loan information files, prepares letters and notices relating to installment loans, works closely with customers who may be delinquent in payments. 
• Stays informed on lending laws, rules and regulations, recommends loan policy changes as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of previous commercial and agricultural lending experience.
