Northwestern Bank, a proud member of the Chippewa Valley community since 1904, is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist for our Main Bank located downtown Chippewa Falls. The ideal candidate for this position will have a friendly and outgoing personality, strong interpersonal and communication skills, will be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and will exemplify our Core Values of deliver an exceptional experience, shine through service, lead with integrity, create positive impact, and foster genuine relationships.

Job duties include:

• Greets customers and visitors as they arrive, assesses their requests and/or inquiries and directs them to the appropriate individual for assistance. Takes messages and delivers promptly.
• Maintains the professional appearance of the reception area.
• Answers incoming telephone calls as quickly as possible. Assists customers with as many questions as they are able to and directs callers to appropriate individual as needed.
• Type monthly letters for municipalities for number of wire transfers and ACH payments.
• May need to sort and distribute incoming mail.
• Processes expense checks for bills and accurately enters vendors in the Accounts Payable system, collects W-9s as needed from new vendors.
• Sends and receives faxes. Delivers faxes to appropriate person immediately.
• Handles change of address communication and forms.
• Verifies customer and legal information for Housing Authorities, Banks and other trust accounts.
• Calculates dates on closed savings and checking accounts monthly to see how many months they were open.
• Serves customers with their safe deposit requests, including but not limited to opening and closing safe deposit boxes.
• Opens and closes bank doors daily.

This position will typically average 20 - 25 hours per week and will be scheduled to work one Saturday per month (9-11 am).
