Northwestern Bank, a proud member of the Chippewa Valley community since 1904, is currently seeking a full-time Proof Operator for our Main Bank, located in downtown Chippewa Falls.

This position is responsible for reviewing and posting all bank transactions on a daily basis, ensuring that everything is in balance and addressing any issues as needed. The ideal applicant will be detail oriented, be able to maintain the integrity of highly confidential information, be willing to work in a team environment, and be able to provide high quality customer service. The job responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Operates check scanner and encodes items from all Branches, ensuring everything is in balance.
• Performs research as needed.
• Assists customers with online bank products and account information.
• Assists appropriate employees with end of year reporting.
• Keep inventory of office and computer supplies required for operations and order supplies when necessary.
• Maintains equipment in department and contacts service person when appropriate.
• Assists customers with questions.
