Northwestern Bank Announces Leadership Transition

Chippewa Falls, WI – December 2025 — Northwestern Bank is entering a new era of leadership with the upcoming retirement of longtime President Gerald H. (Jerry) Jacobson, effective December 31, 2025. After 47 years of dedicated service, Jerry leaves behind a legacy of integrity, innovation, and unwavering commitment to community banking. He will continue to serve on the Northwestern Bank Board of Directors.
As part of this transition, the Northwestern Bank Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Tracey Smiskey, Market President of Eau Claire will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, and Jamie Leibrandt, Market President, will serve as Bank President.
