On February 29, 2024, the Northwestern Bank market president Jamie Leibrandt was pleased to announce Northwestern Bank’s donation of funds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, and Altoona. The funds will were used towards the purchase of 3 AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units at the club locations. When a child’s heart stops beating, every minute without defibrillation and CPR lowers their chance of survival. Access to AED units is an important component of increasing cardiac arrest survival.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley strive to inspire and enable all youth, especially those that need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. By sponsoring the AED units, Northwestern Bank is ensuring that the kids will be able to have access to life saving medical equipment within the clubs.
“Helping the Boys & Girls Clubs implement AED systems will support children within our communities getting fast and lifesaving assistance when needed. It’s part of our mission, at Northwestern Bank to build stronger communities where people matter and giving to causes that save lives is a huge part of that. It is great that we at NB are donating to a cause that I am so passionate about,” shared Jamie Leibrandt, Northwestern Bank market president and Boys & Girls Club advisory board member.
Northwestern Bank is a mission driven community bank building stronger communities where people matter. A core value of our bank and team members is to create a positive impact.
